Recorded TV Manager Media Center Add-in
This Windows 7 Media Center Add-in is integrated into your network to provide complete access to your entire recorded TV collection. Use the Media Center 10ft interface to browse, play and delete series recordings wherever they reside on the network. This is an alternative user interface (UI) to the Media Center Recorded TV page and is specifically designed to make navigating large collections comprising many series more manageable than in the standard Media Center UI. Recordings are presented in a series-centric list format and series episodes are ordered by original air date. This add-in also provides PlayNext functionality and access to the SeriesInfo Database.
This build of the add-in provides FULL support for WTV files. (Note: Windows 7 produces recorded TV files in the WTV format rather than the previous format, dvr-ms.) This software is essentially the same as Recorded TV Manager Media Center Add-in Beta 3 and all descriptions and installation instructions for Beta 3 apply here as well. Please be sure to follow those installation instructions carefully in order to insure proper functioning of the software.
Developer's Note: Although the documentation for Beta 3 is currently contained within the documentation for Recorded TV Manager Add-in for Windows Home Server (WHS add-in), it is fully compatible and works the same with Recorded TV Manager Console (console). Collections and AutoMove in the WHS add-in are implemented using AutoCopy Rules in the console.
System Requirements:
Please follow these steps:
Windows 7 Edition - Build 4.1.1 (Release Notes)
RecordedTVManagerWin7MCAddinInstaller.msi (1.24 MB)
Important: The Media Center Add-in can be installed on any Windows 7 Media Center computer on the network. You will need to install Recorded TV Manager 3 on each computer where it is installed. Developer's Note: Hopefully, the next build will simplify installation.

Please refer to the Beta 3 documentation and these specific topics, which also apply here:
Refresh Button
If the software is installed on the same Windows 7 computer as Recorded TV Manager Console, a Refresh button will appear on the Start page, which is accessed through Extras on the Media Center Start Menu. (Click the thumbnail for a larger image.)
Sometimes, after a delete or other operation within the Media Center add-in, the series lists are not updated correctly. You can refresh these lists by using the Refresh button. On the Recorded TV Manager Start Page, navigate right to select the Refresh button and then click OK.
