Recorded TV Folder View
In Recorded TV Manager, a recorded TV folder is any folder on the local machine or an accessible network location which contains television recordings from Windows XP Media Center Edition or Windows Vista (dvr-ms files). Folders containing recorded TV content must be "added" to the folder list before you can use any of the features of Recorded TV Manager.
To switch to Folder View, from the View menu select Folder View or, press F6 on the keyboard to toggle between Folder View and Series View.
Only folders which are designated as Media Center Folders will be monitored for file creation events (new recordings) and file deletion events. Using AutoCopy Rules you can specify actions to take when those events occur. Select this property in the Folder Properties dialog.
If a folder is designated as Read-Only then the files in that folder cannot be moved or deleted. within the Recorded TV Manager user interface, thus providing a basic level of protection from inadvertent loss. Select this property in the Folder Properties dialog.
