Recorded TV Series View
In Series View, all recorded TV files (dvr-ms) in the folder list are organized by series name. Multiple episodes of a series which span multiple network locations are consolidated in a single list. Select a series in the left-hand pane to view episode information of current recordings.
To switch to Series View, from the View menu select Series View or, press F6 on the keyboard to toggle between Series View and Folder View,
Episode information for all series recordings is saved and available through the Series Info dialog box. From the Tools menu, select Series Info... In the Series Info dialog box, select a Series Name from the drop-down list. See here for more information about the Series Info dialog box.
Note: In order for Recorded TV Manager to collect and save this information, the program must be running either at the time the recording is created or at least once while the recording physically exists in a folder in the current folder list. Top Of Page
To manually set the watched date for a series episode, select the series and, in the episode list, right-click the episode and select Last Watched Episode. This will set the date watched to the current date and mark the episode as the last watched episode of this series.
Recorded TV Manager will automatically set the watched date in the following circumstances.
- AutoCopy OnDelete rule is applied to the episode.
- The episode is "played" from within Recorded TV Manager.
To manually set a series episode as the latched watched episode of a series, select the series and, in the episode list, right-click the episode and select Last Watched Episode. This will set the date watched to the current date and mark the episode as the last watched episode of this series..
Recorded TV Manager will automatically set an episode as last watched in the following circumstances.
- AutoCopy OnDelete rule is applied to the episode.
- The episode is "played" from within Recorded TV Manager.
Loosely defined, a "checked" episode is previously watched. To manually check an episode, simply click the checkbox to the left of the series name. Recorded TV Manager will automatically check an episode in the following circumstances:
- AutoCopy OnDelete rule is applied to the episode.
- The episode is "played" from within Recorded TV Manager.
