- Why doesn't my AutoCopy OnDelete rule fire
when I manually delete a file using Recorded TV Manager?
This behavior is by design. The program only applies
AutoCopy rules to external events in folders which are
designated as Media Center folders. External events are
principally new recordings created by Media Center Edition (MCE) and
deleting files from within MCE. Deleting program files using
Windows File Manager will also trigger OnDelete rules.
